Ashley is wife to Tate, mother to five, and the Director of Family Discipleship & Student Ministries. She works alongside our Children, Youth, and College Ministries to help create a cohesive discipleship program for all of the young people at Milledgeville FMC. She also works to encourage and equip parents in their roles as primary disciple makers in their homes. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Education and uses her degree daily as she homeschools her children. She has spent the last 18 years involved in campus ministry through her years working at the UGA Wesley Foundation and now volunteering at Awakening Collegiate Fellowship. She has a heart for young people and longs to see them fall in love with Jesus and walk in His freedom. She’s passionate about family and is beyond grateful for these days of mothering her own children and all of the young people the Lord keeps bringing into the Welling family!
